How to make a user inactive.

The steps to make a user inactive are:

  1. Click on the 'Manage User' menu bar selection.

  2. Locate the user in the user list and click the user's row.

  3. Click the 'User Profile' tab.

  4. Remove the check in the check box 'This user is Active' with a click on the box.  The caption will turn red when the check box is clicked. This indicates that a change has occurred.

  5. Click the 'Save the changes' button.  If you have more than one user to make inactive, repeat steps 2 to 5.

Making users active and inactive can be useful when users take long periods of time off.  By making a user inactive, their access to TeemWork is stopped.  

To make a user  'active', simply check the box labelled 'This user is active' and go through the steps listed above.
