The Schedule
TeemWork allows authorized users to schedule the team's Activities in advance. This is done in the Agenda.
However, the Agenda does not allow them to view more than one user's schedule at a time, which is not always convenient. To view the team's Schedule as a whole, they can open the 'Schedule' window.
You cannot modify anyone's Schedule in that window, but you can get an overall view of the team's planning.
To open the 'Schedules' window, click on the 'Time Management' menu:

If this menu is not visible when you are logged in, then your team Administrator hasn't authorized you to 'View the Schedule' (see the 'User Profile' tab in the 'User Management' window). You can, however, use your Agenda to view your own Schedule.
Usually, the Schedule is used for two different purposes:
Making sure that the Activities have been correctly scheduled for everyone
Looking at the past weeks, months, or years to view the users' Time Sheets, and compare them to what had been Scheduled

As you can see, there is a list of users at the left of the window. You can only see a user's Schedule if you can see or approve his time sheets (Administrators can set these rights in the 'Time Management' tab of 'User Management').
Every colored rectangle is a scheduled Activity. In the preceding slide, Katherine Harris has two scheduled Activities on Monday, and only one on Tuesday. You can change the color associated to an Activity in the 'Manage Activities' window.
You can click on the '+' sign at the left of a user's name to open show the Activity Types that he participates to. For example, 'Katherine Harris' can participate to the 'Administration', 'Analysis', 'Project' and 'Telemarketing' Activity Types, among others.

Each Activity Type is further subdivided into Activities. The 'Administration' Activity Type has six different Activities.

The rectangles are thicker because they are Activities. When the Activity Types are not expanded, smaller rectangles are shown.
Time conflicts are very easy to spot in the Schedule; when there is one, two rectangles are shown on the same line, one above the other:

By default, the Schedule is shown one week at a time. However, you can change the period displayed with the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner.

You can select the day, week, or month to display in the calendar at the top-right (not in the Schedule window):

IMPORTANT: If you select a date before today's date, nothing will be shown on the Schedule, because that part is not loaded. To load it, enter a date that is before the period that you want to see in the 'start date' field at the bottom right of the window. For example, if I we wanted to see the schedule in July '02, we would enter '2002-07-01', and click on the 'Refresh' button:

When looking 'in the past', it is interesting to compare the Schedule to the time entered on the Time Sheets. To show it, click on the 'Time Sheets' check box, at the bottom-left corner.
You can also display the Schedule 'by Activity', by clicking on the radio button at the bottom. When this option is selected, the tree view is reversed. Instead of displaying a list of users, TeemWork displays a list of Activity Types. Click on the '+' signs to display the specific Activities, and their participants.

Be aware that, in this mode, TeemWork does not display color rectangles to the right when only the Activity Types are shown. You have to click on a '+' sign to make them visible.
