SURF
When you are using TeemWork, you can decide to click on SURF to browse the Internet whenever you want.
When you are finished surfing, you can resume using TeemWork applications where you were when you decided to start surfing. Simply click on a menu bar selection other than 'SURF'. You do not need to LOGIN again when you stop surfing.
Use this command to LOGIN to TeemWork. You can LOGIN to join an existing TeemWork team, or you can LOGIN to create a new team.
Contacts
A click on the 'Contacts' menu bar selection opens the 'Contacts' window. This window is used to display and update the name, address and other similar information about your 'contacts'.
A 'contact' is a person or a company that matters to your team.
In TeemWork, it is said that this contact information is entered and saved on 'cards'. If you want, you can think of these 'cards' as electronic versions of 'Rolodex' or other paper-based cards.
Administration
The selections in the Administration menu allow you to manage your time schedule and documents.

Agenda
You can use the agenda to plan any kind of activities, and to view your work schedule.
Follow-ups
The 'Follow-Up' menu bar selection is used to display the 'Follow-Up' window.
A follow-up is a reminder that something needs to be done about something by someone. Whatever needs to be done can be 'due' immediately or at some later point in time. The someone can be the originator of the follow-up, another team member or all members of the team.
Follow-ups can be referred to someone. Follow-ups can also be associated with contacts.
Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is a collection of links and web pages divided into 'categories' and 'components'. It is a valuable tool for sharing information among team members.
Document Management
Document Management allows team members to share files across a local network or the Internet. These files are typically stored in a document database, on a web server that is managed by the team Administrator.
Document Management also allows you to view and open files located on your local hard drive.
Time Management
Time Management involves the use of electronic time sheets to enter the amount of time spent on activities. Activities are the tasks that people work on.

When someone enters his or her time, he or she specifies what activities were worked on and how much time was spent on each activity.
The purpose of Time Management is to help you keep track of:
how much time was worked by a 'user' during a given day or week.
how much time was spent on any given activity.
TeemWork's Time Management can also be used to keep track of 'Vacation Time', 'Sick Time' and 'OverTime' for each TeemWork 'user'.
Activities
Activities are the tasks that people work on. The 'Activities' window allows authorized users to view, add and modify activities.
Schedules
The window opened by this menu allows authorized users to modify and create their own schedule, or that of other employees.
The Schedule window is also very convenient for visualizing time conflicts.
Time Sheets
The Time Sheets window is used to enter the time worked by each employee. Employees can fill in their Time Sheets on their own, or others could do so on their behalf.
Accounting
Accounting is an important part of TeemWork. See the Accounting FAQ for details.
Manage Users
This final menu bar selection is 'Manage Users'. It is reserved for the exclusive use of Team Administrators. They can add new users. They can also specify what users may and may not do, as well as what information is available to them.
