How to issue an invoice.
An entered invoice has the status, 'ToBeIssued.' When the invoice is issued its status changes from 'ToBeIssued' to 'UnPaid.'
In this case, Janet Taylor issues an invoice she had entered earlier.
First open the 'Receivables - INVOICE' window.
Below is a slide of Janet's Menu Bar selection. Click the 'Accounting' menu bar selection and click the 'Receivables - INVOICES' option.

The 'Invoice' window appears once the menu bar is clicked. The 'Invoice' window opens by default with a list of 'UnPaid' invoices.
The window view illustrated below shows the 'Unpaid' invoice list.

The invoice list of, 'ToBeIssued' status is required to continue.
To view the invoices that have the status, 'ToBeIssued' select "ToBeIssued' from the field labelled, 'List of Invoices that are' and click the highlighted row.
The drop down list is shown in this slide.

The invoices of the status, 'ToBeIssued' are listed in this view of the 'Invoice' window. After the 'ToBeIssued' list appears, click the invoice that is to be issued.
Janet click's the row for the invoice to be issued. She clicks the 'JP Restaurant' row.

The entered invoice details appears in this slide.

Next enter an invoice number in the field labelled, 'Invoice Number.'
Janet enters the number, '134' in the field.

Save the changes once the number is entered. Click the 'Save' button.
The invoice is ready to be issued.
Click the button labelled, 'Issue the Invoice.'

A pop-up window appear. Confirm that the invoice is to be issued. Click the 'Yes' button in the window.
Below is a slide illustrating the pop-up window.

The status of the invoice changes from 'ToBeIssued' to 'UnPaid' after the pop-up confirmation button is clicked. The first set of GL account entries are saved.
In this slide the invoice appears. The status is changed.

To issue another invoice with the status, 'ToBeIssue' repeat the steps as illustrated above. Begin with the 'ToBeIssued' invoice list and continue.
