GL account Reports

There are 2 types of GL account reports available.  They are:

Both reports are accessed from the 'Manage GL Account' window.

The GL account list

The GL account list is simply that, a list of all the GL accounts used by your team for use in accounting. 

The slide below illustrates a partial GL account List.

As with all financial reports and statements, the GL account List report is generated from the 'Manage GL accounts' window.

Below is a slide of the menu bar selection.  The 'Manage GL Accounts' option is selected.

After the menu bar option is selected, the 'Manage GL Accounts' window opens.  Click the 'Report' button near the top of the window.  A GL account List report is generated. 

In this slide, the 'Manage GL Accounts' window is shown.

After the report is generated, it appears in the TeemWork browser.  When a report or financial statement is generated TeemWork is functioning in 'Surf' mode.  Click the 'Printer' icon to print the report.

When a report is generated it is first saved on the local machine and then secondly, displayed in TeemWork. This file can be located in the 'TeemWork' folder.  To find up more about where the reports are stored, read, 'Where are my reports stored?'

The GL account Debit and Credit Report

This report generates the GL account Debit and Credit entries for a selected GL account.  In addition to the entries for the GL account, the Debit and Credit totals are tallied and the GL account balance is recorded at the bottom of the report.

Below is a slide illustrating a GL account report.

This report is generated when the 'Debit and Credit for this GL account' tab is opened on the 'Manage GL account' window.  The 'Report' button located on the tab is clicked.  This 'Report' button is located near the lower right corner of the tab.

In this slide, the GL account Name, 'Office Equipment' is shown.  The mouse pointer hovers over the button labeled, 'Report.'
